This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made through the Active Vocabulary Service at https://av.studyabroad.xin. Checkout, payment handling, tax calculation, receipts, refunds, and chargeback handling are provided by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record for the transaction.
1. Membership Subscriptions
You may cancel your membership subscription at any time through your account settings. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, and no further charges will be made after cancellation.
- New subscriptions: We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of your first payment.
- Renewals: Renewal payments are generally non-refundable. If you forgot to cancel and were charged for a renewal, contact us within 48 hours for a case-by-case review.
- Partial period: We do not offer prorated refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.
2. AI Points
AI Points are one-time digital purchases and are generally non-refundable once delivered to your account. If you have not used any AI Points after purchase and request a refund within 48 hours, we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
3. Learning Reports
Learning Reports are one-time digital purchases providing immediate access to learning analytics. If a purchased report fails to generate or contains materially incorrect data due to a technical issue on our side, contact us within 7 days for a full refund or report regeneration.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to info@studyabroad.com.cn with your registered email address, order or transaction reference number, the purchase you are requesting a refund for, and a brief explanation of the reason for your request.
All refund requests are reviewed manually by our team. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method. Processing time depends on your payment provider and typically takes 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement. Refunded subscriptions lose access to membership features immediately upon refund processing, and refunded AI Points will be deducted from your account balance.
6. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account and access to the Service pending resolution of the dispute.
